The Southeastern District
MMEA has an annual music scholarship.The scholarship is named
for Richard Shattuck, who taught chorus for many years at
Silver Lake Regional High School, and was very active in SEMSBA,
District and All-State.
Student applicants must be accepted to an accredited college or University as a music education major.
The
following students were chosen to receive the R.N. Shattuck
Scholarship for
